The Delphox Line (Chinese: 妖火紅狐綫) is a core part of the ShimanoMTR network and runs in a figure 6 through the northwestern area of Spawn and through Llanmara.
The line is a figure-6 track consisting of the Hanakoshi area at its southern end, the so-called “circular section” surrounding a large glacier area at its northern end, and the “radial section” extending from east of Ying Chuk to near Llanmara.
This is SMTR's first light metro system driven by a linear induction motor with steel wheels, and it was driverless from its opening until 2026.
To prevent snow damage in the snowy areas, approximately 80% of the line is underground, with only a small portion being above ground.
The maximum speed is 80 km/h, but speed limits are imposed mainly on the “circular section” due to the design's sharp curves (radii of 100 to 200 m). As of 2026, the speed limit on this section is 40 km/h. Many passengers have expressed concern about this speed limit, but TRT has stated that it is difficult to increase the speed with the current speed control in 20 km/h increments.
The standard journey time for the entire line is approximately 1 hour and 22 minutes. This is the longest journey time of any single SMTR line, but because it is a circular line, few passengers actually ride the entire line.
Planning for this line began in August 2022, and a sign announcing its existence was installed at Extreme Hot Springs Station.
A Cinderace Line reservation platform was also installed at Shirokaba Mansion Station, which was completed in September 2022.
Construction began at Azalea Station in September 2022, and Line S11T opened between Azalea Station and Extreme Hot Springs Station in October 2022.
In November 2022, Line S11 will open between Kurokusa Mansion Station and Shirokaba Mansion Station.
Line S11T opened in early December 2022 between Extreme Hot Spring Station and Ying Chuk Station, and between Ying Chuk Station and Cinderace Station.
It will open between Azalea Station and Kurokaba Mansion Station in early January 2023. Line S11T has been merged into Line S11 and has been discontinued.
At the same time, a permanent depot was constructed approximately 1.5 km east of Ying chuk station.
It was extended from Ying Chuk station to Black Lea station in March 2023.
Queen Elizabeth II Station opens in July 2023.
In early August 2023, the entire loop line section opened from Shirokaba Mansion Station to Cinderace Station.
The final section, between Black Lea and Llanmara stations, will open in late August 2023. All sections are now open except for Twynn Station along the way.
From the end of 2023, due to server lag due to an increase in the number of players, a stuck area occurred near the Depot, so the service frequency was temporarily reduced to 6 minutes from December 30, 2023. April 4, 2024. By moving the Depot to the south and changing the alignment to make it difficult for passengers to get stuck, the service frequency was returned to 2 and a half minutes. The site of the old Depot will be used as the Jigglypuff Line Depot.
As part of a major renovation project on December 22, 2025, the line name will be changed to Delphox Line, and the name of Cindeace Depot station will be changed to Delphox City. This is the first time that a line name has been changed during operation, including SMTR lines other than LPS.
On February 6, 2026, unmanned operation will end with the retirement of 11-000 and 11-500. Operation will be unified to one-man operation by 11-600 and its crew, Delphox.
All trains operate in 9-car formations. All trains run clockwise from Ying Chuk, return to Ying Chuk, and continue towards Llanmara.
As mentioned above, it used to be 6 minutes, but after relocating the Depot, it has been returned to 2 and a half minutes.

The only unopened Twynn station is currently under construction. In parallel with this, Llanmara station is being renovated.
A large-scale renewal project is currently underway on this line, and in the future, plans are in place to install successor rolling stock such as the 11-000, as well as change the tunnel model.
