It has a role to complement the railroad blank area of the route such as SMTR. The system is based on the Teufort LRT(TLRT) and has been customized for left-hand traffic. The vehicle is also the S43-Tec LRV used in the Teufort LRT, and is known to have a variety of colors as a feature. Originally, it was planned to be based on the Hong Kong LRT, but there is a history of changing to the S43-Tec LRV because of its maneuverability and ease of handling. =====Features===== * This line basically plays a complementary role to existing or planned lines with long distances between stations, including lines other than SMTR, so there is a strong tendency to construct it in parallel with the line. ((There are some routes that do not have parallel routes, such as the HG system.)) * Except for existing stations, there is a strong tendency for station names to be written in Japanese. * Unlike SMTR, the construction method is simplified and tends not to create stations with different designs from station to station. * As mentioned above, it is compatible with TLRT and actually provides through service with TLRT. * In principle, only CJK ((example:"相01")) is indicated as the number, which is different from other LRT lines. ((English notation can be confirmed on the system map.))((The system numbers of the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation are used as a reference.)) =====Rolling Stock===== All vehicles are S43-tec LRV or compatible models. It varies slightly depending on the route, but basically it is operated without distinction between vehicles. Gray indicates trains that have not yet been introduced. ====List of liveries===== ====Shimano LRT==== Currently, trains with four or more cars are operated with the same model and the same livery. ===Standard Model=== ^ Model ^ Livery ^ Cars ^ | **1928 Stock** | Dark Green | 2 or 4 | | **1975 Stock** | Pink | ::: | | **VVVF Refurbished 1975 Stock**((Only Traction System was replaced with Bombardier mitrac igbt-vvvf.)) | Pink | ::: | | **1980 Stock** | Blue | ::: | | **Refurbished 1980 Stock** | Yellow\\ White\\ Violet(Evangelion Unit-01) | ::: | | **1987 Stock** | Green\\ White&Red&Maroon(Commemorating the extension of the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line Livery) | ::: | | **1995 Stock** | Orange\\ Wood\\ Reaf(Toden 8500 style) | ::: | | **2002 Stock** | Red((Same as default S43-tec color except logo))\\ Scarlet(Evangelion Unit-02) | ::: | | **2010 Stock** | Purple | ::: | | **2020 Stock** | Gold\\ Yellow & Dark Gray(Utsunomiya Light Rail Opening Commemoration Livery) | ::: | | **2024 Stock** | Magenta | ::: | | @#888888: **1943 Stock** | @#888888: TBA | @#888888:2 or 4 | Note:The above vehicle is owned by TRT ===Shimano MTR Compatible Model=== A model compatible with through service to Shimano MTR.
